Hi! I’m Dennis! My Wife and I proudly own and operate Live Events Missouri LLC. I am a professional, award winning DJ and MC (Master of Ceremonies) as well as an Ordained Minister & Wedding Officiant. Having grown up in “The Cashew Chicken Capital Of The World” I ADORE Chinese food!
I have been a DJ since 1999 and have entertained at thousands of events of all styles! Aside from Weddings, I have been directly involved in live event production as a technician for many years. You can rest assured that when you hire Live Events Missouri, not only are you getting a well seasoned entertainer, you are getting someone who understands the industry and knows how to operate all aspects of your event!
Live Events DJ’s were recently awarded “Couples’ Choice” by WeddingWire.com. We were also awarded “The Best Of Weddings” by TheKnot.com and “The Best Of Thumbtack.com”!
Live Events DJ’s have mastered the art of packing most any dance floor! We cater to everyone. It doesn’t matter if Grandma and Grandpa want to dance to The Twist, or the younger crowd want to dance to The Wobble. All of our music is edited (clean) so that no one gets offended. Since all events are unique, we will tailor the music to fit your specific event!
Be careful when choosing a DJ! Your event is VERY important! Be sure
to hire a professional DJ that will strive to make your event fun and memorable for your guests! All too often we hear: “my cousin is going to DJ our wedding from his iPhone”. Please make sure you hire a DJ who can professionally execute every detail of your event! Hire a DJ who will “make the music flow” appropriately! Hire a DJ who knows how to pack a dance floor! Dennis did the music for our wedding reception earlier this month. He was very flexible in the planning process and didn't mind us providing quite a long playlist of songs for the event. I think we also returned our wedding music information forms a bit late, but he didn't penalize us for that. At one point, we asked about some add-ons to our original contract, and there was some miscommunication about what we needed for the event. However, Dennis was great and told us not to worry about it at all, with no extra charges added in the end. All in all, the music was great, there was plenty of dancing and many of our guests complimented the DJ during the reception. And when we opened our cards later on, we found one from Dennis!

Throughout the entire planning process, Dennis was very responsive and helpful. Every conversation gave me the sense that he was listening to what we wanted. Having him DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception was the best choice. Nothing went wrong, he was punctual about everything, he had lovely lights and music that went perfect with our style. I love how he likes to talk about everything rather then just sending information via a portal. I would recommend him to every couple out there getting married or to anyone needing a DJ. Ryan and I were extremely pleased. As a finishing touch, he even sent us a card as a thank you for being apart of our lovely day. If you want a DJ with a personal touch and a listening ear, Live Events is the best way to go! Price was perfect and worth every penny!

From the very beginning when I first heard about Live Events Missouri. I contacted Dennis and immediately knew he was the perfect person for our reception. I got to meet him several months later at a bridal show, and it just solidified my excitement to have him be our DJ. Over the past year since I filled out my final paperwork, just waiting on our big day.. Dennis has answered every message, joked with me, and made me feel like the only bride he was dealing with. I know that's not the case... which made it that much more amazing to me. When it came down to the day.. him and Ashley showed up and dealt with the craziness of my wedding and reception. Going ABOVE AND BEYOND. To make my day the absolute best. I honestly cannot thank Dennis enough for everything he did for us. I have had nothing but compliments on how great our DJ was. I would recommend him a million times over.

I was so impressed with how helpful he was with keeping our day on track and ensuring everyone was having a great time. We had a great experience with Live Events! Before the ceremony, they were responsive to our special requests and helped with ceremony music. They were polite and helpful with guest requests during the reception. They were accommodating and very easy to work with in all aspects of the day! I'd definitely recommend Live Events!!!
