About

Troy Barnett, founder of DJ Barnett Entertainment has been entertaining people from coast to coast for over 30 years. In 1988, Troy started playing music for school dances in Northern California at the age of 15, which inspired him to make DJing a career. In 1995, Troy started his first DJ Business "Real Music & Co." in Jacksonville, FL which was huge a success at a very young age. In 1998, he went to work on Cruise Ships to further his experience of music and public speaking as Cruise Director. In 2006, Troy moved back to his hometown in Northern California to be closer to family. With many years as a professional DJ/MC and Wedding DJ he started DJ Barnett Entertainment.

Amazing, smooth , in good hands

David Meyer was amazing , very coordinated and organized. If you’re in need of a DJ and you do not know what the timing is or or what you may need DJ David Meyer is the man you would want in any wedding! We were all over the place ,he coordinated organized and made everything smooth and easy for the whole group ,everybody was dancing, singing and having a blast! Couldn’t imagine anything other than David Meyer as our DJ for our wedding. He was fantastic & wonderful to every person who came up to him asking for a certain song or whatever was needed was done! Thank you very much , would recommend him to anyone who needs a wedding coordinator/DJ/organizer/event planner. Our wedding would have not been a hit without DJ David Meyer. He got those to get on the dance floor that Have never danced in their life in any event! Highly recommend David Mayer as your wedding DJ Anniversary DJ wedding, any DJ you need he is the man you need to come and see and ask for!!!!

The absolute BEST DJ ever!!!

DJ Barnett helped make our wedding amazing!! He was so accommodating and helped with anything we needed (not just DJ services). He went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. Honestly, the feedback we heard about the music and DJ was outstanding. We recommend him for any events, especially wedding!!!! Thank you so much DJ Barnett!!!

Absolutly outstanding

DJ Barnett DJed our wedding in March and set up an amazing venue. Due to winds and cold we had to move most of the reception to an overhang area and never got to enjoy his incredible set up. However this man moved his equipment halfway through to accommodate us. He was professional, personable, an expert in weddings, and superflexible. He turned what was a reception flop into a great party! A wedding can be stressful but this man and his team were ontop of everything throughout the night. He also has a photo booth set up we rented and now we have so many photos of amazing moments we didn't even know were happening. 20/10 absolutely outstanding. I recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ for their event. Thanks so much guys.
