Dresses are made-to-order with quality in mind, with fabrics like soft tulle, Japanese crepe, mid-weight silk satin, and fine cotton lace. With hand-beaded, hand-sewn details, every dress is one-of-a-kind. As an online e-commerce bridal brand with roots in Washington, DC and Chicago, we create beautiful, custom, made-to-measure wedding dresses for the modern bride. As a women-owned shop, we've partnered directly with our dressmaker, and cut out layers of distributors and retailers to offer gorgeous dresses without the mark-up. We believe in bridal done differently, and create our high quality dresses in three to four months. Each and every dress is carefully sewn and lovingly made for a bride, focusing on proportions and possibly saving on alteration costs. As our mission is about women helping women, a portion of every dress purchase goes to programs helping women and girls in need. We’re currently supporting The Chicago Foundation for Women. Services Offered At Grace + Ivory, we provide an exceptional bridal experience from initial inquiries to purchasing your dress, accommodating custom requests, answering questions, and shipping and receiving. Our unique try-at-home program allows a bride to order a dress sample to their home to see and try, which makes our kickass brand available nationwide. The average turnaround time once a bridal gown is purchased is less than six months. Every dress is made-to-order, most styles are available to try through our try-at-home program, and you can also schedule an appointment to try with us at our Chicago Showroom.
